Camp is a huge opportunity for us to carry out our core mission of teaching the young people about our faith whilst allowing them to experience fellowship with one another. There are significant costs involved, and in 2022 we held two fundraising events.
Our YFers served over 50 cups of coffee and 70 bacon/sausage sandwiches at our Saturday morning brunch event, raising us over £1,000. We were also very proud to present a concert by the Doorknobs swing/jazz/big band, which raised another £700. With some very kind additional donations we have raised over £2,000 towards this year’s Camp.
